The purpose of this music project is to introduce and showcase the music of
David Hamilton to 60,000 people at a concert to be held on Valentine's Day 2013,
at a major Miami stadium venue.
You can be part of this tremendous, unique endeavor. In order to capitalize on the work performed to date, the music must be sold. Traditional methods by which an artist sold music was via a record contract with a music company. Record companies have become huge corporations with thousands of employees. They have become impersonal machines run by attorneys, accountants, boards of directors and detached shareholders. This has resulted in what I believe is substandard music delivered to the public in a shotgun fashion of marketing - take it or leave it.
This idea of selling out a stadium for an unknown artist has never been done before. This is exactly what makes this project so intriguing, challenging, exciting and potentially very financially rewarding. The key to success will be based on the songs created over the past 20 years and your support and encouragement. It can be done, but only if you take this opportunity to be an integral part of music history, opening the door for independent artists everywhere, all while being richly rewarded yourself.
You have been given a sample of the David Hamilton catalogue of music. Please, when you have some time to really listen, pick out your favorite songs.
